Village Potential Data Collection 2026

The Statistics Office of Fakfak Regency (BPS Fakfak Regency) has once again implemented the 2026 Village Potential Data Collection (Podes). This activity is undertaken with the objective of compiling comprehensive and up-to-date data on regional potentials, encompassing social, economic, and infrastructure aspects, across all villages/urban wards within Fakfak Regency. The data collection is scheduled to take place from April 15 to May 14, 2026, covering all villages/urban wards in the region.

Prior to the field implementation, preparatory activities were conducted through a structured training program for enumerators, delivered in a hybrid format. The program commenced with an online session on April 9, 2026, followed by an in-person session on April 10, 2026, held at the Office of BPS Fakfak Regency.

The implementation of the 2026 Podes is expected to produce accurate, comprehensive, and reliable data reflecting the conditions and potentials of villages/urban wards. The resulting data will serve as a strategic reference for regional development planning and policy formulation, thereby supporting the realization of more equitable and sustainable development across Fakfak Regency.
